Message from the President

A New Year always brings reflections on what was accomplished in the past year and what new possibilities are ahead. As your new FPA of Pittsburgh President, I cannot be prouder of the achievements of 2012. The breakfast meetings and half-day conferences continue to be a staple in offering national-caliber speakers and education. Our October 18, 2012 Financial "Four"um brought together over 260 financial service professionals for a day-long symposium that was truly unique. Keynote Speakers like Natalie Choate Esq., Jon Delano, John Nichols, and Dr. Martin Murenbeeld entertained, educated, and inspired us.

2012 also marked the beginning of the FPA of Pittsburgh Saluting Service Award. The event was held on May 22 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum. This landmark event launched our community outreach and increased our public awareness in an unprecedented fashion. Nearly 500 attendees gathered for the picnic, musical entertainment, and first-class program. We honored 23 nominees that have bravely served our country and community. At the conclusion of the event we presented a $10,000 check to The Veterans Leadership Program in honor of the award recipient Mr. Thomas Fitzgerald.

The 2013 FPA of Pittsburgh Board of Directors is excited to build upon the momentum of the past year as we complete the planning and programming efforts. We ask that you join us once again for the breakfast meetings and half-day conferences. We ask that you support and promote the value of the Financial Planning Association. We ask that you put the following two dates on your calendars now.

A New Way to Serve Your Clients

Your clients and prospects may likely have the vast majority of their investable assets in their employer-sponsored retirement plan.  Do your clients give this important asset the attention it deserves? Do they review changing investment options in light of market conditions, as well as in light of their changing needs and risk profile? If not, do they know that, through you, they can add professional money management to their account?

Through partnership with Absolute Capital Management, you can provide ongoing investment management for this key asset. This allows you to incorporate this core piece of their retirement savings into their overall financial plan.

Whether your clients and prospects work for:

·         The state or local municipality - 457 Plan

·         A non-profit organization - 403(b) Plan, or

·         A public or private company - 401(k) Plan,

Absolute Capital has already navigated the logistics of adding professional money management to such accounts and we stand ready to help you every step of the way. We manage such accounts through a third party form wherein we have discretionary authority to manage the account and deduct our management fee which is shared with you.

Absolute Capital Management is a third party money manager who has over a decade's experience in providing tactical and strategic management solutions. We are ready to partner with you to offer a wide array of investment solutions designed to navigate market conditions over time.

Need a roadmap to help get started? Have a question about a particular plan? Call Absolute Capital today and we'll customize the information and tools you need specific to your book of business. We can provide free analysis of your target market to help unlock opportunities with your current clients and within your own community. Call us today at 1-888-388-8303.
