Sunday Hours
We're now open Sundays!

From January 4th through March 29th, the Cheshire Library will be open Sundays from 1:00 -  5:00pm.

Holiday Hours

Early Close: 4:00pm on Wednesday, December 31st
Closed: Thursday, January 1st for the New Year's holiday.
Open: Friday, January 2nd, Saturday, January 3rd & Sunday, January 4th.
Closed: Monday, January 19th for Martin Luther King Day

Weekend Concert Series
Sunday, January 25th at 2:00pm
This month
Yale's Society of Orpheus and Bacchus will perform. Founded in 1938, the SOBs are the second longest-running a cappella group in the nation. Accompanied by an eclectic songbook that features jazz, folk, gospel and contemporary arrangements, this all-male ensemble of talented and dedicated singers has performed for countless audiences the world over, delighting thousands while sharing their love of music and laughter across generations.

This program is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Thanks to the Suburban Garden Club, the dwarf Alberta spruce donated by Cheshire Nursery is all decked out for the holidays!

Mobile Printing at the Library

Cheshire Public Library is pleased to announce the addition of MobilePrint Service™.

 

The MobilePrint Service enables you to print at the library and remotely (home, office, school, etc.) from smartphones, tablets and computers and then pick-up your printouts at the library.
Director's Message

We have a lot of new programs beginning in January. Check out the kids page and the teen page of our website for info. on what's new in the Children's Department this winter.

Also, our Weekend Concert Series has begun! We have some great performers lined up: Yale's Society of Orpheus and Bacchus, pianist Paul Bisaccia, and the Atwater-Donnelly Band. Please join us for these free events. A big thank you to the Friends of the Library for sponsoring this series.

And don't forget the library will be open on Sundays (1:00-5:00) from January 4th - March 29th.
