THE THIRD INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION IN CHINA
On September 23rd, Jeremy Rifkin met with the Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang in Beijing to discuss how China can be a global leader in the transition toward a Third Industrial Revolution sustainable economic paradigm.
The Vice Premier endorsed the book, The Third Industrial Revolution, in 2012 and has encouraged the Chinese public to study the ideas and themes presented by Mr. Rifkin.
In an hour long meeting with Mr. Rifkin, the Vice Premier reiterated his commitment to usher in the 5 Pillars of the Third Industrial Revolution infrastructure and expressed his hope that China would become the flagship for an emerging "ecological civilization."
 































SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MINISTER WAN GANG AND MR. RIFKIN MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME IN BEIJING
 In an extensive 2 hour conversation, Minister Wan Gang confirmed his ministry's support for the 
research, development, and 
deployment of Third Industrial Revolution technologies that 
will allow China to advance
productivity and spur new businesses and employment while addressing the triple challenge of climate change, energy security, and sustainable development.
PRESIDENT HOLLANDE "UNVEILS €3.5 BILLION PLAN FOR THE THIRD INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION" IN FRANCE 
"French President François Hollande hopes to create 470,000 jobs by injecting €3.5 billion in
34 key industrial sectors."
In announcing his plan, President Hollande remarked that "Quality is not only German, technology is not only Japanese, innovation is not only American and competitiveness is not only Chinese. The third industrial revolution will also happen in France."
