$50 Million LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge Open for Business
The LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge opens this week with the International Gift Exposition in the Smokies. Built by Merit Construction, the 232,000-square-foot event center held its grand opening last month to celebrate the project, which is already showing signs of boosting growth in Sevier County's tourism industry. Designed by Pigeon Forge-based SRA Architects, the center will host large conventions, competitions, trade shows, and exhibits. The facility is divided into several assembly spaces able to accommodate groups of all sizes
