Locks of Love Cut-a-Long

Do you have long hair? Or will have long hair by March? If so, save that hair to donate to Locks of Love!

On a date to be determined in March, there will be a school-wide assembly educating the school about how and why the Locks of Love organization makes wigs from donated hair. We will then take "live" donations one by one on stage. After the assembly, hair stylists from The Cartel Salon will style the hair of the people who donated to a beautiful new hair-do!

If you or your child is qualified (10 inches of pony tail to cut) and are willing to donate your hair for this great cause, please contact Heather Lopez  (714) 693-3812 x1363 or email her at helopez@fairmontschools.com so she can get an idea of how many stylists are needed for this event.

Missing Sweaters and Sweatshirts
Please, please check your child's sweater or sweatshirt to see if another child's name is in it or monogrammed on it!  We have had many parents who have monogrammed or labeled their child's outerwear and they have 'disappeared." Usually another student has taken it home accidentally and it is sitting in your closet. Thank you in advance for your help!

FPA Santa Train
Ho, ho, ho!!  The Santa Train at Irvine Regional Park was SO much fun!  Mrs. Claus read stories, there was the yummiest hot chocolate ever, and snowman bounce houses and twinkling lights everywhere.  It was so wonderful to see so many families kicking off the holiday season with this wonderful annual event.  The train ride wound through a beautiful scene of lights wrapped around all the trees...leading us to Santa's Village!  Of course Santa was waiting for all the good boys and girls to tell him about their wish list!  Can't wait for next year!
