Do Republicans Want Big Corporate Tyranny?
Republicans love to whine about the tyranny of the big bad federal government. So why did they just vote to increase the power of corporate tyranny? Everything any of us have ever done on the internet will now be sold off to the highest bidder. That's because on Tuesday, House Republicans passed a bill making it LEGAL for companies like Comcast to sell their users' internet browsing history without permission. The bill now heads to President Donald Trump, who's expected to sign it. Republicans are always whining about big government tyranny. Doesn't this bill just show that what they actually want is big corporate tyranny? -Thom (What do you think? Tell us here.)
