It's interesting how words that don't seem to agree make perfect sense. Here's a new figure of speech that's no mishap - Luxury Vinyl. Yes, it's confusing, but these seemingly contradicting ideas are making great strides in the flooring industry. In fact, this evolving product is the fastest growing flooring category across the country.

This month's project showcases Mohawk® Noblesse luxury vinyl collection. The product features Mohawk's patented Uniclic® technology, a tongue-and-groove locking system that reduces installation time and requires no glue. Installing this product in a basement (as pictured above) has been a popular application among many clients. Not only do these luxury vinyl planks (LVP or LVT) offer exceptional realism, they're durable and water-resistant - therefore, they won't swell or buckle when exposed to moisture (looking at you Spring Showers). Since basements are primarily used as entertainment areas or kids' playrooms, its budget-friendly and easy maintenance features are something to get excited about! 

As you can see, today's luxury vinyl tile and luxury vinyl planks are much more desirable than Grandma's kitchen sheet vinyl - and who doesn't love modern vintage! If you definitely maybe want to try out this awfully good product, stop in before it's old news. Hope to see you soon!
