| Technical Services Corner: Read These Instructions Before Replacing a Print Head |
Please be sure to follow these instructions BEFORE beginning the print head replacement process on any Direct Jet UV LED printer.
- Power down printer and move the Main Power Switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the main power cord AND the USB cable.
- Wait for five (5) minutes. DO NOT PERFORM ANY OTHER ACTIONS OR STEPS DURING THIS TIME.
- Begin print head replacement process.
Failure to follow these steps prior to beginning the print head replacement process may result in serious damage to printer.
All replacement print heads shipped by DCS include a warning label on the outside of the box.
