| Third-Party Adhesion Promoters |
Direct Color Systems has completed extensive testing on several difficult-to-adhere-to substrates with multiple adhesion promoters that are currently available in the marketplace. DCS recommends these third-party adhesion promoters for use with specific substrates, as test results demonstrate better adhesion when compared to our Low Odor Adhesion Promoter (I-UV-ADHPR2-200) under certain circumstances.
While these test results have been confirmed, always test the results of these products on your specific substrate using your application method prior to using them in production.

| InkMark™ UV Plastics and Metals for UV LED Inkjet Printers |
 While InkMark™ UV metal and plastic substrates can be used with any UV flatbed printer, they are optimized to accept DCS's UV LED inks without the use of any chemical wipe or adhesion promoter. This allows you to more easily and economically create durable images with a greater resistance to scratches and many perfumes and solvents, including 100% isopropyl alcohol. InkMark substrates also resist chipping and delamination when sheared, sawn or engraved.

InkMark UV Metals are coated aluminum substrates that are available in white, brushed platinum, silver and gold finishes.
InkMark UV Plastics are available in two base plastic resins and a variety of color combinations.
InkMark DR Acrylic is suitable for exterior applications and can be laser cut, cut with rotating carbide, sawed, drilled or bent with heat.
InkMark UV ABS can be profiled with rotating carbide, scored, cut with shears or bent with heat – with no predrilling required.
InkMark UV Cast Acrylic can be laser cut, cut with a rotating carbide, sawed and drilled. Cast Acrylic products are suitable for outdoor applications. ADA/Braille printing on Matte Side only.
InkMark UV substrates are available in standard sizes from 1" x 3" (25.4mm x 76.4mm) up to 24" x 48" (609mm x 1219mm), with custom sizes and shapes also available.
