The recent Hurricane Sandy left many without power and even homeless. Many of those who suffered due to the storm, managed to continue to celebrate the recent holidays despite the clean up. During this week in November, Americans will be celebrating another holiday in just a few days, Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time when we gather with family and remember how grateful we are for what we are surrounded by. Even if we weren't directly affected by the storm, we are sure to be grateful for what we have in our lives today. As a part of this celebration, many people are also turning to social networks to participate in the "30 days of Thanks", where they post one thing every day they are grateful for. Whether you are participating on a social network or are still working to restore your life from the recent storm, there has never been a better time to celebrate what we are grateful for in our lives. So don't let November be the only month where you are actively remembering your blessings. Make everyday a celebration of thanks. And remember those who will celebrating their holiday of thanks as they still try to recover their normal lives.
