New BRIDGES Sponsors

CMF would like to welcome and offer special thanks to our newest event sponsors; Sotheby's Marketplace International Realty and West River Group.  The support provided by our sponsors allows CMF to expand our programs and offer them at a lower cost to those less fortunate.

Learning to Read Music

Like an actor's script, a sheet of music instructs a musician on what to play (the pitch) and when to play it (the rhythm). Sheet music may look complicated, but once you've gotten the hang of a few simple elements like notes, bars and clefs, you're ready to rock.
Tim Hansen hits the instrumental basics you need to read music (more).

First Note Coloring Book Coming Soon!

We're just getting started with some rough sketches but CMF has retained a professional cartoonist to create a coloring book featuring Miss Melody and the Music Friends!

First Note teachers will have another tool to use in their classrooms with the addition of art to support their music lessons.
