Visiting Classrooms

"I don't get to visit our First Note classrooms as often as I'd like, but when I do, it is such a joy. Last week, I had the opportunity to visit Lakeview Elementary in Kirkland, Washington and visit with Rachel "Miss Melody" Brackett!  Thanks Rachel for all your good work with our youngest students." (Pictured: CMF Executive Director Rourke O'Brien and Lakeview students)

CMF Executive Director Rourke O'Brien and Rachel Brackett ("Miss Melody") were proud to be invited as guests on New Day Northwest, a KING 5 television program hosted by Margaret Larson. Click on the picture above to view the segment about First Note!

First Note to Add Online Training

Thanks to a grant from the Norman Archibald Charitable Foundation, CMF will be producing an online training video for the First Note program. This is an important addition that will support our remote locations, enable easy  ransitions between teachers, including substitute teachers who can facilitate the program with just a few minutes of training anytime and anywhere!
