Since May 22nd when martial law was declared in Thailand many good actions have been achieved by the junta or National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO). The latest survey, conducted on 2,091 Thai people from July 1-5, found that 88.5 per cent of respondents were happier seeing peace in the country and many problems being solved. One amazing action has taken place in Phuket by the NCPO where all beaches across the island have been returned to nature and all beach bars, beach clubs, sun loungers have been banned and removed or taken down and all beaches including Patong returned to what nature intended, long stretches of golden sands, wonderful!
