The summer season is upon us (previously known as low, rainy, green season!). Thai new year (Songkran) has come and gone, the beaches are becoming much quieter and the rains have begun to return at night mainly, although the temperature is still in low 30's, peace has returned after a hectic tourist season. Although tourism is now a year round event with Phuket airport arrivals expected to exceed 10.5 million this year,Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Samui are generally quieter than Phuket for sales, however Bangkok rental market is strong and there are many bargain buys in all locations with owners prepared to negotiate on the listed sales price.
We are seeing a shift from beach lovers to more and more families wishing to settle down in Thailand due to the climate, cheaper property, low cost of living, excellent international schools, wonderful health care, ever improving infrastructure and international airport.
