In Phuket the hotels, beaches and restaurants are packed with tourists and there is a real holiday feel about Phuket island in this high season although extremely warm the weather remains unusually unsettled with many cloudy days. Pattaya, Hua Hin, and Samui are also busy and enjoying higher volumes of visitors than previous years which bodes well for Thailand's tourism industry.
