It hardly seems like 12 months have passed, where has the year gone?, with all the trouble and strife in the world presently dare we say it, Thailand is a breath of fresh air. Thai Politics still remain a major concern due to so many parties with differing views and objectives but as usual all parties seem to muddle through until the next crisis! The Bangkok floods knocked out most industry for 6 months, yet Thailand has bounced back and GDP is estimated at 5.5 to 6.5 % in 2013 not a bad effort when you consider most economies in Europe and the world are flat or in recession.
The property market generally continues to attract major development in Bangkok and the main tourist destinations such as Phuket, Pattaya & Hua Hin. Bangkok condo prices remain high, although in Phuket and Pattaya the price points have come down considerably to match the current market demand for condos, apartments and 2 bed villas on smaller plots being the most popular sales. Developers have been quick to adjust plot sizes, offer more competitive pricing while retaining a high standard of build quality and finish. Not surprisingly these developments sell out quickly and we list many in this newsletter which are excellent value for money.

На политической арене страны соседствуют множество партий с разными программами и задачами, промышленность практически полностью восстановилась после наводнения 2011 года, и прогноз роста ВВП в 2013 году колеблется от 5,5% до 6,5% - что, согласитесь, является весьма неплохим показателем на фоне экономик стран еврозоны, многие из которых переживают период рецессии.
Наиболее привлекательными рынками недвижимости страны продолжают оставаться деловой Бангкок и туристические зоны: Пхукет, Паттайя и Хуа Хин. Цены на кондоминиумы в Бангкоке стабильно высокими, и, равно как в Паттайе и на Пхукете, соответствуют текущему рыночному спросу. Сегодня очень востребованы на рынке: кондоминиумы, апартаменты, двуспальные виллы с приватным бассейном на небольших земельных участках. Застройщики очень быстро адаптируются под требования рынка, оптимизируя размеры земельных участков, совершенствуя технологии и качество строительства. Поэтому, нет ничего удивительного в том, что строящиеся проекты очень быстро распродаются (многие из них - представлены в этом информационном бюллетене) и являются превосходным вариантом вложения денег в недвижимость в Таиланде.
