Rep. DeFazio and Rep. Hastings to serve on WRDA Conference Committee

Today, the House Members selected to serve on the WRRDA Conference Committee were announced, with Rep. Peter DeFazio (D, OR) and Rep. Doc Hastings (R, WA) chosen from the Northwest. A total of 28 House Members and eight Senators will serve on the Committee which is tasked with resolving the differences between the House Water Resources Reform and Development Act (H.R.3080) and the Senate Water Resources Development Act (S.601). PNWA has been in touch with both offices on a number of items related to water resources legislation and will continue working with them as this legislation moves forward.
