Rep. Rick Larsen to speak at PNWA's Summer Conference! 

  

PNWA is pleased to announce that Congressman Rick Larsen (WA-2) will be our keynote speaker at the PNWA Summer Conference.  He will be discussing his priorities for the coming year and welcoming the PNWA membership to La Conner, WA for the event which takes place June 24th - 26th.  We encourage all PNWA members to make plans to join us!  In addition to Rep. DHS/FEMA announces 2013 Port Security Grant Program  

 

DHS/FEMA has announced that funds are available for the FY2013 Port Security Grant Program (PSGP). Eligible ports have been classified in two groups for the purpose of assigning funding: Group 1 consists of high risk ports and Group II consists of all other port areas. The Columbia-Willamette-Snake River Port Area has been assigned to Group II and will compete with 81 other port regions for funding totaling $37,282,925.

There are two steps to the application process. The first step is an initial submission to determine eligibility and is due by June 17th. The second step, submission of the completed grant application, is due by June 24th.

The Merchants Exchange of Portland is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Professional to work with the Maritime Fire and Safety Association and Clean Rivers Cooperative

 

As an employee of the Merchants Exchange, this position is responsible for Maritime Fire & Safety Association administrative and Fire Protection Advisory Agencies Council ("F-PAAC") program management and Clean Rivers Cooperative administrative activities as outlined in the most current Merchants Exchange Association Service Agreements and in coordination with the association senior account manager. Responsibilities include specific association program coordination & management functions including financial support. Timely and accurate execution of responsibilities outlined in the client association service agreements is imperative.
