PNWA HMTF policies modified
Today PNWA's Executive Committee voted in favor of adopting a modified policy regarding the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund (HMTF). Several PNWA member ports worked together to create the new policy, which will allow PNWA to support multiple proposals for addressing a fix for the HMTF.
Prior to making these changes to PNWA's policies, members were asked to complete a survey indicating their opinion of the changes. The survey responses were overwhelmingly in favor of the changes, which were then voted on by the Executive Committee and approved for adoption.
