Vermont 2-1-1 Logo
Vermont 2-1-1 is Always There!

Vermont 2-1-1 is the number you dial to find out about hundreds of important community resources, like emergency food and shelter, disability services, counseling, senior services, healthcare, child care, drug and alcohol programs, legal assistance, transportation needs, educational and volunteer opportunities, and much more.

2-1-1 is your first step toward solving everyday

problems or when you face difficult times.

2-1-1 is not an emergency number like 9-1-1, nor is it directory assistance like 4-1-1.

  It's a free service. It's confidential. It's 24/7.

For a copy of the most up-to-date Vermont 211 information, take a look at their December eNews here.

Explore Your Beliefs, Opinions, Ideas and Ideals About Race

If you haven't already done so, we enthusiastically encourage you to visit the RACE: Are We So Different exhibit at the Echo Lake Aquarium and Science Center. To quote our friend Phelan Fretz, the ED, "Give yourself the time to explore not only the exhibit, but your own beliefs, opinions, ideas and ideals about race in the U.S."

The exhibit is part of a local, national and global conversation about how to reconcile history and move forward productively in a diverse society.

Please read a thought-provoking letter from Phelan about his personal journey with the Race Exhibit.  Where do you stand?
