MALF is offering a one-time scholarship of $500 to a Friend of the Library interested in traveling to Washington, DC on May 2-3, 2016, to advocate for libraries as part of National Library Legislative Day. This special MALF scholarship is for first-time participants who currently reside in Minnesota. Individual-level membership in MALF, or affiliation with a Friends of the Library group that is a member of MALF, is also required. To apply, fill out the form, along a cover letter that addresses your background as a Friend of the Library, your aspirations as a library supporter, & your reasons for wishing to attend National Library Legislative Day. Apply by Mon Dec 21.
