The Metronet Board recently increased the amount awarded for the Lars Steltzner Scholarship to $1000. Applicants must be in the first five years of their careers and work in a Metronet member library. The award may be used for a continuing library education event or a national or local library conference or pre-conference. Recipients are eligible to receive the scholarship once in their career.
