USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 05-10

Greetings!

We have a few things on the agenda:

Holiday Party

As a reminder we are having our regular December flotilla meeting this Thursday (December 19). This meeting will be our holiday party devoted to fellowship. We will not conduct any business at this meeting.

The holiday party will be at 7:30pm at Blarney Stone at 11 Trinity Place. Please feel free to go directly there. It is near the Rector Street R station. If you wish to come to the MIO and walk to Blarney Stone (about half a mile), I will be at the MIO at the regular meeting time of 7:00pm and will leave with whoever is there to walk over at 7:10pm.

The flotilla will pay for an assortment of light appetizers. The regualar bar and restaurant menu will also be available.

NY Boat Show

If you have a Bravo uniform (jacket and tie) and are available on January 1, 3 or 4 to staff the Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safety booth, please let me know. We are in particular need of people from noon to 5pm on January 1 and in the evenings on January 3 and 4.

Membership Dues

Membership dues for the 2014 calendar year are $50 and were to have been paid by October 31, 2013. If you have not yet paid, please do so immediately. Dues can be paid online by debit or credit card or with a PayPal account by clicking on this link PayPal or by copying the code below into your web browser.

Dues can also be paid by paper check payable to US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 5-10 and mailed to Andrew Lom at 182 East 95th Street #15F, New York NY 10128. You may also bring your check to our meeting on Thursday. PLEASE DO NOT MAIL CHECKS TO THE MIO.

January Meeting

Our January flotilla meeting will be Thursday, January 23, 2014, instead of the regular third Thursday. The meeting will be at 7pm at the MIO.

Flotilla Meetings:

Flotilla 014-05-10 has its monthly meeting at the USCG MIO/Recruiting Building, 2nd Deck, at 7pm on the third Thursday of each month.

Directions to the USCG MIO/Recruiting Building:

Enter the building by the guard shack on the left hand (east) side. If the guard challenges you please tell him you are there for an Auxiliary meeting. You may be required to present a photo ID. Our conference room is up one flight of stairs.

The nearest subways are the 1 at South Ferry and the 4,5 at Bowling Green. The MIO/Recruiting Building is just west of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.
