Indiana Fuel Retailers Grant |
On September 10th, the Indiana Office of Energy Development (OED), was announced as one of 21 state recipients of grant funds from the USDA, Farm Services Administration, for the installation of higher ethanol blender pumps, through their Bio-fuels Infrastructure Program (BIP).
Wednesday, October 28, The USDA Secretary Vilsack officially announced the award of nearly $100 million in federal funds to deploy higher ethanol blends in 21 states.

PERC Update: Mower Incentives are Back! |
The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) Propane Mower Incentive Program is back: Effective immediately, but for a limited time, landscape contractors can apply to receive $1,000 toward the purchase of a new propane-powered mower, and $500 toward a qualified conversion.
- Lower operating costs;
- Proven performance;
- Fewer emissions;
- Easy on-site refueling and less downtime;
- Reduced fuel spills and pilferage problems; and
- Abundant fuel supply produced in the United States.

DieselWise Funding Available for 2015 |
The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) recently announced the latest round of DIESELWISE funding for 2015, totaling at $900,000 for clean diesel, alternative fuel, and anti-idling projects. They have teamed up once again with South Shore Clean Cities to develop grant proposals and apply on behalf of fleets who are interested in partial cost offset for replacement, retrofit, or repower projects targeting existing diesel vehicles.
