PERC Update: Mower Incentives are Back!
The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) Propane Mower Incentive Program is back: Effective immediately, but for a limited time, landscape contractors can apply to receive $1,000 toward the purchase of a new propane-powered mower, and $500 toward a qualified conversion.

This opportunity will only last until the program funds expire, though, so there's no time to waste; in fact, some industry professionals attending the GIE + Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, this week got a head start in hearing about the advantages:
  • Lower operating costs;
  • Proven performance;
  • Fewer emissions;
  • Easy on-site refueling and less downtime;
  • Reduced fuel spills and pilferage problems; and
  • Abundant fuel supply produced in the United States.
DieselWise Funding Available for 2015

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) recently announced the latest round of DIESELWISE funding for 2015, totaling at $900,000 for clean diesel, alternative fuel, and anti-idling projects. They have teamed up once again with South Shore Clean Cities to develop grant proposals and apply on behalf of fleets who are interested in partial cost offset for replacement, retrofit, or repower projects targeting existing diesel vehicles.
