Welcome to the February edition of the South Shore Clean Cities newsletter. We provide you with upcoming transportation news in your area along with tips and ways to improve your fleets and communities. We appreciate your input so feel free to leave us feedback on how we're doing! Help us spread the word to better improve Northern Indiana's quality of life and reduce our carbon footprint. Annual Alternative Fuel Report Survey
Please help us put together a snapshot of the amount of petroleum and greenhouse gas emissions Indiana reduced in 2014. Your data will help us reflect to the rest of the U.S. all the activities and initiatives happening in Northern Indiana.

All responses are confidential. Your individual numbers will not be shared with anyone outside the South Shore Clean Cities staff. Any data shared will be aggregate data that reflects the entire coalition.
Free Pass to Work Truck Show

The NTEA is excited about their continued involvement with Clean Cities! They are proud to offer South Shore Clean Cities members the opportunity to receive FREE passes to the March 2015 Work Truck Show. To receive your free passes please visit our Member Center under the resources page.

 

Free Overnight Charging Extended for NIPSCO IN-Charge Program

NIPSCO is pleased to announce that free overnight charging has been extended for IN-Charge at Home participants through January 31, 2017. Participants of this program will continue to receive no charge for home charging station electric usage between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily. NIPSCO and South Shore Clean Cities would like to thank these participants for being among the first adopters of EVs in Northern Indiana and for helping make the program a success. One hundred and seventy-two (172) EV owners have taken advantage of the IN-Charge At Home incentive to date!

Green Commuter Radio Show
The Green Commuter focuses on a variety of Green topics and bring you the latest information on green technology and transportation in Northern Indiana. Carl, the host of the show, discusses topics with industry and governmental leaders, provides news and information about environmental events, as well as green products and processes.
