Recorded Webinar Now Available - The Affordable Care Act:

What Health Reform Means for Women, Families & Communities

First ACA Webinar: Recorded Version Now Available

Couldn't participate in the webinar? Don't worrry! NACPM - and our webinar series partner, The Association of Midwifery Educators (AME) - invite you to view a recorded version of the first webinar in the Affordable Care Act webinar series:

The Affordable Care Act: What Health Reform Means

for Women, Families & Communities

Note: Due to technical difficulties, this recording does not contain the participant Q&A portion. However, the content of the presentation is the same as was presented on 5/22/14. There also may be a slight pause in the recording, before the webinar begins.

Becky Martin, a midwifery advocate and an expert in health care reform, will describe the historical context that led to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and give a basic introduction to the various provisions in the legislation.  This webinar provides a wealth of information about the ACA, and will lay the ground for getting the most out of subsequent offerings in the series.

Read here for information on the whole series.  The webinars are free and open to everyone.  There is a small charge if you would like to receive CEUs. Join us to listen to experts from a variety of fields as well as your peers, focusing on topics such as reimbursement, integrated health systems, innovative practices, and electronic health records. All webinars will be recorded and available for future listening.

If you already registered for CEUs and have not taken the required post-test, you may still do so:

We hope you will join us for the next webinar in the series, "Birth Centers and Women's Health Provisions of the Affordable Care Act," on June 26, at 2pm ET.

With all best wishes,
