The Integrative Healthcare Policy Consortium (IHPC) is working to ensure that the important advances for integrative health care written in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act are implemented in ways that give all Americans access to the full range of qualified health care professionals.

NACPM is an IHPC Partner for Health, and Mary Lawlor, Executive Director of NACPM, is a member of the IHPC board of directors. The work of IHPC towards a fully integrated health care system and access for U.S. citizens to the full complement of licensed health care providers, complements the work of NACPM and the MAMA Campaign to secure Federal recognition for CPMs and to increase women's access to their care. As a member of IHPC's Partners for Health, all NACPM members are invited to join IHPC's Online Action Network to have a direct voice on Capitol Hill for an integrated health care system. Partners for Health amplifies the public policy voice of NACPM members.
