Sharing Memories, Wisdom and Wishes

The City of Concord will be celebrating its 250th anniversary next year. ConcordTV is planning to capture the voices of Concord on video (which will be edited in a special movie) as one of our contributions to the celebration. And we're starting with the voices of our Senior Citizens.

We are looking for 25 to 30 individuals who want to be part of this legacy gift to the City and its future generations.

Here's the information
 Learn How to Create a Video PSA  
for your Nonprofit
When? Friday, February 7th, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. 
ConcordTV will provide basic training on how to create a PSA in-house for your organization. Learn the general guidelines on: how to make a clear, concise PSA; grab your audience's attention; write a script; and learn basics of video and editing techniques. Find out how ConcordTV provides free video equipment and training to nonprofits as part of its own nonprofit mission. Discover how to get your PSA out on social media, your website, etc.,  and community TV stations across the State. 

Marketing Your Nonprofit on a
Slim to None Budget
When? Thursday, February 27th, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  
 Attendees will learn how to: 
 use community TV channel bulletin boards using PowerPoint; create a TV show using our technical staff; develop a simple Marketing Plan that includes Video, Email marketing, Social Media, YouTube, etc. and lots more.

Where are the workshops held? 
Workshops will be presented at ConcordTV's Studio B located in the Concord's Community Center on 14 Canterbury Rd. (formerly Dame School), from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. 

  

What does it cost and how do I pay? 
Cost for each workshop: $20

(ConcordTV classes are in collaboration with the City's Parks and Recreation Department, which is also located in the Community Center).
