ConcordTV Nonprofit Workshops Scheduled
Helping You Create Exposure
for Your Cause (on a Shoestring Budget)

Every now and again, Concord Community TV (ConcordTV) schedules workshops that inform nonprofits on how they can get their message out in a way that's affordable. This year the station is pleased to announce that it has set the dates for TWO popular workshops that will be repeated in February.

Where and What Time?
Both will be presented at ConcordTV's Studio B located in the Concord's Community Center on 14 Canterbury Rd. (formerly Dame School), from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Cost for each workshop: $20

When and What?
Learn How to Create a Public Service Announcement (PSA) for Your Nonprofit
Friday, February 7th, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
ConcordTV will provide basic training on how to create a PSA in-house for your organization. Learn the general guidelines on: how to make a clear, concise PSA; grab your audience's attention; write a script; and learn basics of video and editing techniques. Find out how ConcordTV provides free video equipment and training to nonprofits as part of its own nonprofit mission. Discover how to get your PSA out on social media, your website, etc.,  and community TV stations across the State.

Thursday, February 27, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Marketing Your Nonprofit on a Slim to None Budget
This workshop is designed to help nonprofits get their message out in a simple, and cohesive marketing plan:
Attendees will discover how to:
  • get access to complete video equipment packages for free;
  • create graphic slides for TV bulletin board announcements;
  • create ongoing social media and email marketing campaigns;
  • incorporate the power of video on YouTube, websites; fan pages, etc.;
  • create a PSA or TV program;
  • get the attention of traditional media;
  • and more!
