Brighten Your Holidays
The CRRL offers plenty of options for all ages from celebrating Christmas as they did in colonial Fredericksburg to learning about winter holidays all over the world.  Attend one of our special holiday events, learn how to DIY gifts and decor, and find new stories to share.
Books for Early Readers
Goldilocks had trouble with more than porridge, chairs, and beds! When she wandered into the bears' library she couldn't find the right book. One was too easy; the next was too hard. What's a young reader to do? The CRRL has a solution--yellow tape on the spines for young readers who are outgrowing Beginning Readers, but may be overwhelmed by the huge chapter books an older student will read. Read more.
