A HUGE THANK YOU to Krissy Austin and Deena Wachtel and their families for organizing our first ever Fall Harvest Festival and for all their work in building the scarecrows adorning our campus! We appreciate all the teachers, room parents, students and other helpers who created their own distinctive scarecrows. They added personality to our campus and reminded us of the truly fantastic community we have at El Rodeo.

The Festival was a wonderful community-centered event filled with great activities, delicious food, terrific auction items and, most importantly, lots of smiles and laughter. The many volunteers who made the event possible also deserve a BIG thank you including Michal Arnson, Shiva Bagheri, Allyce Balson, Sheila Bolour, Holly Claman Freedman, Sharon Dohm, Julie Gilberg, Stephanie Goldman, Eden Halfon, Lynn Iezman, Mandy Katz, Doug Kunin, Marjaneh Manavi, Lucy Morris, Susie Naufal, Melissa Paz, Jeannine Ramer, Christina Romani, Kelly Schulman, Melissa Stein, Patric Wilson, Mike Wachtel, Ms. Jones and the 4th/5th Grade Book Club, Ms. Rosenblum and the 4th/5th Grade Math Club, Mr. Tintor and the Middle School Leadership Team, and all the other Middle School students who helped. Thank you to Mr. Allen, Mr. Painter, Susie, and Vivian for all their support and to all the parents and students who participated in the Bake-off contest and donated their baked goods. Congratulations to our Bake-Off Contest winners: For Best Presentation - Rebecca Katz and Caitlyn McDonald, For Best Cake - Celina Nadelman, and for Best Overall - Alexandria, Team K.

BEDTIME WITH BOOKS

Join us for Bedtime with Books, Tuesday, October 27th from 6:30pm-7:20pm in the Library. A fun evening of art, reading, cookies, and milk for TK-3rd graders. Mr. Painter will be the guest reader! Students must be accompanied by a parent.

   LUNCH TIME ACTIVITIES
To those who already volunteered to help with our new fun and engaging lunch time activities for our students, Thank You! Roya Cohen and Lynn Iezman will be contacting you shortly. If you'd like to volunteer but haven't yet done so, it's not too late. We need parents Monday through Thursday from 11:15am -12:15 pm to assist in the supervision of 2nd-5th graders while they play board games, read books, build with Legos, etc. during lunch recess. Volunteer every day, for one week, once a week, or once a month. We'll accommodate your schedule. This will all take place off of the cafeteria or possibly in the science lab.  All materials will be provided. If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Roya Cohen at [email protected].

 PLEASE DONATE TO THE 2015-2016
        EL RODEO ANNUAL FUND!

A BIG THANK YOU to the families who have already
donated to the Annual Fund!

Everyone at El Rodeo truly appreciates your generosity and the commitment you have demonstrated to our children
and our school.

The Annual Fund Drive is El Rodeo's most important community-wide fundraising effort, and accounts for the largest percentage of our total fundraising budget . Every dollar you contribute will remain right here at El Rodeo and pays for the many fabulous school programs and services El Rodeo offers . No matter what grade your child is in, he/she will benefit from the wonderful and enriching extras the Annual Fund sponsors.  To donate, please complete and return the Annual Fund envelope that was mailed to your home (there are extra envelopes in the school office), or donate online by clicking the "donate now" icon above which will take you to the El Rodeo website.

It's that simple! Everyone gives because everyone benefits!  Together, we can ensure our children continue to receive the best education possible!

To find out how your child's specific grade benefits from the Annual Fund budget, or if you have any other questions about El Rodeo's Annual Fund Drive, please contact Mandy Katz at

HAVE YOU SUPPORTED
THE EL RODEO ANNUAL FUND YET?

Please help El Rodeo by making an important investment in your child's education. The ER PTA plays a crucial role in funding by providing the financial means necessary to support a variety of academic enrichment programs that would not otherwise be available at our school.

Thank you Mandy Katz for spearheading this drive!
