Each year JFS serves over 5,000 Metrowest residents who turn to us for help. 

They may be friends or neighbors suddenly overwhelmed by hard times. 

They may be new immigrants struggling to learn a new language and new culture.

They may be elderly men and women in nursing homes or children learning to read.

Making Ends Meet

JFS helps make ends meet for individuals in need by offering financial assistance, food distributions and counseling that will help them stabilize their lives.

 

Keeping Seniors Safe and Healthy

JFS keeps the frail elderly in our community safe and healthy with Patient Navigators for medical appointments, friendly visitors to alleviate social isolation, personalized care plans and education about exercise and nutrition.

 

Strengthening Lives

JFS strengthens children and families, helping youngsters achieve success in school and assisting parents with training and job placement.

 

Building Community

JFS builds community with programs that bring young Jewish families together, provide adoption services that join parents and children, and assist immigrants who resettle in our community.
