Happy 2nd of April :)

Dear Parents,

I am so glad you are reading Russian JFN monthly newsletter. JFN states for Jewish Family Network, and the grant we have from Genesis Fund, helps to interconnect Russian-speaking families around Boston area. We hope you and your kids enjoy our events, and the discounts we can provide on behalf of the grant. Please, do not be shy - click the links, download the pictures, reply with your feedback and suggestions for the future events. Share this email with your friends and on your timelines/social networks. No matter, how busy I am in my "other" life, I'll have a moment to chat over the email. Enjoy April's Newsletter, and I hope to see you more often at Russian JFN events.

The party runs for about an hour. The Mad Scientist starts off with a short magic trick with a science introduction to break the ice and get the kids observing and distinguishing between science and magic, and then he or she gets into a series of different, fun and very visual science demonstrations and fun hands-on activities. This is not a magic show! We explain the science behind the activities to the kids, and they even get to try out some things along the way (hand-held generators, vortex cups, or something along those lines).

In addition to this interactive show, kids get a chance to make their own Cotton Candy, and experience Dry Ice workshop.

Each kid also gets a famous Mad Science goody Bag.

Many of you asked me what is the difference between Russian JFN Grant and Center Makor? Well, the difference is huge. While Russian JFN mostly deals with before-school-age kids,  Center Makor is on opposite, focused on School Age Kids. Center Makor offers classes and many of them are taught in Russian.  Russian JFN doesn't offer any classes, but invites you to participate in a number of one-time events at a very discounted rates, made possible by the grant we received. Russian JFN sometimes use the grounds of Center Makor - Natick for its events. But, it'll be always mentioned that the event is brought to you by Russian JFN.  Yes, both programs focused on the Russian-Speaking Community of Greater Boston Area. Yes, both program collaborate to deliver the best programs together.

At the Center Makor Website, there is a section for Community Events. Russian JFN sometimes posts its events there, EVEN if they are scheduled at Center Makor - Natick.

Please, visit Center Makor's official website for more information on programs in Brighton and Natick provided by Center Makor.
