Individuals with developmental disabilities have a greater need for healthcare services than the typical individual and therefore are more impacted by the cost of healthcare and changes to the healthcare system. Big changes have occurred in recent years and new changes are starting in 2014.
- What changes can be expected with the ACA/Obamacare/Insurance Exchange?
- For individuals with disabilities, what are the important features to research when choosing a plan?
- If specific medical costs are not being covered by their insurance company, how does one appeal or find other support to help with these costs?

This is a free event for the community sponsored by The Arc of Whatcom County. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! There will be fun games and yummy treats for all to enjoy. Please dress in your costume, and bring non-perishable food to donate to the Bellingham Food Bank.
Last year was our first Halloween Party and it was a tremendous success...so much fun celebrating with children and adults of all ages and abilities!
