 6:00-8:00pm
The Arc's Dan Godwin Community Center

2602 McLeod Road, Bellingham

Individuals with developmental disabilities have a greater need for healthcare services than the typical individual and therefore are more impacted by the cost of healthcare and changes to the healthcare system. Big changes have occurred in recent years and new changes are starting in 2014.

  • What changes can be expected with the ACA/Obamacare/Insurance Exchange?
  • For individuals with disabilities, what are the important features to research when choosing a plan?
  • If specific medical costs are not being covered by their insurance company, how does one appeal or find other support to help with these costs?

 Please RSVP: 360-715-0170 ext. 303, monicab@arcwhatcom.org.

Supervised care for family members is available

if you RSVP by Friday, October 18.
