TVV Decatur Welcomes Dr. Dana Hunley
|
 We are proud to have Dr. Dana Hunley join our after-hours emergency team at TVV Decatur. Dr. Hunley is a 2004 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. She later completed a year of clinical study at the University of Georgia. Her veterinary interests include emergency and critical care medicine as well as soft tissue surgery.  |

TVV Buckhead Welcmes Dr. Caterine Wendt

 The Village Vets Buckhead welcomes Dr. Caterine Wendt to the team. Dr. Wendt is a 2009 graduate of University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. She's been a part of the family for over a decade - she worked with Dr. Will Draper as a tech assistant while in high school ...in the very early TVV days.
Dr. Wendt's professional interests are dermatology, internal medicine, geriatric medicine, dentistry, and surgery.

"Community Helpers" From TVV

TVV Decatur's Dr. Melissa Finke and Dr.Stacy Stacy were "Community Helpers" at Winnona Park Elementary School's Fall Expedition "My Community and Me". Our vets were able interact with a classroom full of happy and inquisitive kindergartners, including Dr. Stacy's daughter Ella - pictured above sitting between her mom and Dr. Finke. The kids had many questions and interesting comments. They especially enjoyed spending time with Eloise and Moxie, rescued French bulldogs owned by Dr. Stacy and Dr. Finke.

On Saturday, Oct. 26 in downtown Decatur, animal lovers and advocates for people with disabilities came together for the 2nd Annual disABILITY LINK "Doggie Day" to celebrate dogs as both pets and working animals. Dog lovers got the opportunity to see their favorarite species honored as not only loyal companions but also service, therapy, and crisis-response dogs. It was a wonderful experience to witness the interactions between these hardworking loyal dogs and their grateful humans. Marlin, a service dog, attended the event with his owner and received a complimentary nail trim at The Village Vets booth - pictured left, with TVV team members Dianna Eichorn, RVT and Jay McDonald. HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!
TVV Lilburn-Stone Mountain and Buckhead offices will be closed for Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 29, 2013.
TVV Decatur will be closed for regular office hours (i.e. routine medical care, appointments, boarding drop-offs and boarding pick-ups).
As usual, the After Hours/Emergency Services at The Village Vets - Decatur will be open for small animal pet emergencies 24 hours a day (including Thanksgving Day:).
