 February is Nat'l Pet Dental Health Month - receive 20% Off of your pet's dental cleaning at TVV as listed below:TVV Decatur is offering 20% off through the end of February and again in the month of October 2013.
TVV Lilburn-St.Mountain and TVV Buckhead hospitals are offering 20% off February through the end of April 2013.
The Village Vets promotes good dental health all year-round.....therefore, if your pet's annual exam occurs after Dental Health Month ends and your veterinarian recommends a dental cleaning for that pet, you will receive a 20% off dental voucher that can be used within the 3 months following the exam/recommendation.

 After graduating from University of Georgia's Veterinary School of Medicine in 2005, Dr. Louise Delong moved to Washington, D.C. where she practiced small animal medicine for 4 years. She later moved to Chapel Hill, N.C., and practiced with another small animal hospital for 3+ years, before moving to Atlanta to join The Village Vets. Her special interests in veterinary medicine are in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry.

TVV Welcomes Dr. Prather Back to Decatur

Dr. Deva Prather, who worked at another prominent Decatur veterinary practice for almost 7 years, joined our TVV Lilburn-Stone Mountain team on February 1, 2011. Exactly 2 years later, she moved over to our Decatur practice. Though a very difficult decision to leave the clients and pets she has grown to love over the past 2 years, she could not pass up the opportunity to work so close to home. She, her husband Donald, and their 3 young children live in the Oakhurst area, within minutes of TVV Decatur office.

2013 8th Annual Run With The Dogs 5K

Runners of the two and four-legged variety hit the streets of Decatur on Saturday, Jan. 12, for the 8th Annual Run With the Dogs 5K. This unique, canine-friendly run/walk event started on N. McDonough Street in front of the Decatur High School auditorium and TVV Decatur.
This year's event had a 60% increase in participation of 480 registered runners, and well over 100 canine participants. Run With The Dogs is a fundraiser for the Decatur Bulldog Boosters, who provide support for the athletic programs at Decatur High School and Renfroe Middle School. This year over $10,000 was raised - four times the amount of last year. As proud sponsors of this event, TVV had several team members on hand, who raffled free veterinary services, provided hydration to both dogs and humans, and offered free nail trims (dogs only - not humans). We look forward to doing it again next year!!
