The festivities don't stop at the end of the drive-through route. Guests of the light show can stay and visit the huge Santa's Village.
Christmas at Connemara

Every Saturday in December
10:30AM - 12PM
 
  • Music/storytelling will be held at 11:00 am and hot cider and cookies will be served.  
  • Holiday craft-making will be offered before and after the music from 10am to 1pm.  
  • Music and craft-making is free, there is a small fee to tour the Sandburg Home.  
  • The house will be decorated in the simple style of the Sandburgs with poinsettias and a traditionally decorated Christmas tree.

  • December 6, 5 - 8 PM ~ Olde Fashioned Hendersonville Christmas, Merchants host an open house with refreshments, & entertainment 
  • December 7, 10AM ~ Hendersonville Christmas Parade (Where is the perfect place to watch it?  From the Inn's front porch of course! )
  • December 7, 12:30 ~ Polar Express Children's Event (free event) with Santa Claus at the Historic Train Depot immediately following the Christmas Parade, cookies & hot chocolate, & a reading of the Polar Express Christmas story   
  • Every Friday & Saturday in December (except Dec. 14), 6 - 10 PM both nights, 1 - 5 PM on Saturday ~ Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, reservations recommended, they will pick up here at the inn if reserved in advance!

Did you know that Biltmore offers two ways to see Christmas at Biltmore?  The traditional Daytime visit "Christmas at Biltmore" and the Special "Candlelight Christmas Evenings".  Which one to pick?  Why choose?  Do BOTH!  With our upgraded  Christmas at Biltmore Package you can visit the estate for two consecutive days and enter the house for both a daytime visit AND a specially timed evening visit (ticket upgrade is $30 more).

Gingerbread House Display

You have never seen gingerbread creations like this - unless of course you watch Good Morning America each year when they feature the winners!  Entries are made completely of edible ingredients (except base.)  They are absolutely incredible!

Gingerbread "houses" are available for viewing, Sunday - Thursday at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville.  Cost is $10 for parking.

While you are there enjoy the decorated Christmas tree display throughout the main floor and the huge fireplaces in the main lobby.
