The Southern California Gas Company is installing automatic safety shutoff devices on transmission lines at three locations along Del Amo Boulevard over the coming months. The first project is taking place now on Del Amo east of Bloomfield Avenue and will last for about six weeks.
 
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Del Amo between Bloomfield and Winkler Avenue (south of the Target shopping center).

Consider alternative routes, and drive extra cautiously and patiently when in that area.
