Children receive holiday gifts
Lakewood's new Stonefire Grill restaurant teamed up with the Lakewood Sheriff's Station to help brighten the holidays for 25 underprivileged children from the local area.

Stonefire treated the children to a December 7 dinner at their Lakewood Center restaurant along with Lakewood Station Captain Alan Castellano and 24 of his personnel. Stonefire then presented each child with a $50 gift card. The Sheriff's personnel accompanied one child each to the Target store at Lakewood Center to do their holiday shopping. The "Shop With A Cop" event brought smiles aplenty to deputies and children alike.
