There are so many ways to get involved in Conflict Resolution Month. One of the best ways is to become a Synergizer and join a Team!
Conflict Resolution Month Teams are groups of folks who have come together to coordinate an aspect of Conflict Resolution Month. There is a wide range of diversity in team activities--chances are, there is a team that would be a great fit for the contribution of your time and talents!
Check out the details of each team here. If you don't see a team that's right for you, feel free to attend the monthly Synergizer meeting and suggest something new!

MESSAGE FROM MARY ZINN
|
Our time is here, again!! October is our chance to make conflict resolution and management methods more visible in Colorado!! The public can learn about what we do and who we are as we leverage our exposure.
Take a look at what the Conflict Resolution Month in Colorado Synergizers have created for you to take advantage of - they have not been idle!!
Our Facebook Page is ready for your stories and input... be sure to like us and invite your friends!!
More than 300 copies of Sticking Points: How to Get 4 Generations Working Together in the 12 Places They Come Apart by Haydn Shaw have been distributed in Colorado. Special thanks to the ADR Sections of the ABA and CBA for supporting the book distribution effort! Readers Guides for the book were created and distributed with the books to facilitate community discussions. Packets, including our selected book, were sent to all Colorado Legislators and the Governor. Our Little Free Library Campaign, new this year, will get books on conflict resolution topics in the hands of metro Denver readers. Letters about our cause and the book selection were sent to Libraries across Colorado. Proclamations across the state encourage commitment to using constructive processes. We have local groups creating activities in Colorado Springs, Summit County, Boulder, Roaring Fork Valley and Estes Park! Check out the activities and promote them to a wide audience!! The more that people know about the benefits of conflict resolution methods, the more likely they are to choose them. This is our time to advocate for our field ... Leverage, leverage, leverage! Promote the book, wear a pin, make presentations, attend activities ... whatever you choose to promote constructive problem solving in our communities. Increasing the use of collaborative methods is a significant gift for all of us. Have a great October celebrating your expertise and your successes! Thanks for joining us. Much Peace. Mary Zinn, Synergizer

BOOK LAUNCH!
|
September 10, 6:30 PM
Clark Hall, Regis University
We're delighted to announce that the forgiveness book we've been working on for the past two years now actually exists in book form:
Forgiving Others, Forgiving Ourselves
published by Skylightpaths.com
Please join us for wine and cheese, as well as dialogue about forgiveness. The book was just released in mid-August, so this is the first chance we will have to speak with friends and colleagues about the work we've been doing. Some of you may have been participants in our survey, some may have known of the work through personal or professional contacts. It is the nature of human experience that ALL of us will need to forgive and be forgiven in important relationships. Our intention in writing the book is to make this process more understandable and more accessible.
Do come and tell us what you think! Books will be available to buy there and be signed if you like.
