We need your help!  Each year our team selects a book to feature during Conflict Resolution Month and we'd like your suggestions!

The book needs to be one that people will read (accessible language and content, not too academic), must be readily available, and should not be too expensive. Of course, we are looking for a book that helps people to build conflict resolution skills.

Books will be reviewed over the next three months and then selected in May.

To suggest a  book, please email Mitzi Hicks with the title and a brief reason you are suggesting the book. Please remember that ideal books are geared toward the general public versus only practitioners.

There are so many ways to get involved in Conflict Resolution Month. One of the best ways is to become a Synergizer and join a Team!

Conflict Resolution Month Teams are groups of folks who have come together to coordinate an aspect of Conflict Resolution Month. There is a wide range of diversity in team activities--chances are, there is a team that would be a great fit for the contribution of your time and talents!

Check out the details of each team here.  If you don't see a team that's right for you, feel free to attend the monthly Synergizer meeting and suggest something new!

Thank you to everyone who submitted a 2014 Survey - the information you provided was invaluable.  We hope you will continue to keep in touch, providing more ideas and suggestions to create an impactful effort -- inspiring Coloradans to practice constructive problem solving!

What are you planning for October 2015?  What support do you need?  We are excited about the limitless possibilities!

We will feature one Power of 10 Hours story monthly. We hope inspiration is drawn from the countless Coloradan's participation and contributions to the 2014 campaign! To kick off the series, we begin with an excerpt from Lauren's experience promoting Conflict Resolution Month's 2014 Book Selection...

"My piece of the puzzle really began with reading John Hunter's book, "World Peace & Other Fourth Grade Achievements" and taking to heart so many of the integral lessons John teaches us through his personal teaching experiences. I collaborated with his publishers to bring copies of his incredible book to Conflict Resolution Month for a discounted price. Now, with the help of an incredible team of Synergizers, we have been able to share a valuable learning tool with our vast Colorado community. I can't emphasize enough what a joy it has been to coordinate such an important effort and see (and hear) others enjoy the insightful text, as well as apply its lessons to their own lives."
