Shootin g Sports Programs for Spring at Camp Roosevelt
Rifle Merit Badge Program - March 28 Attention Boy Scouts! Don't miss this opportunity to work on the requirements needed to earn the Rifle Merit Badge. The program will run from 9 a.m. - 4 pm. offering plenty of range time to practice with the targets. Cost $20 per person.

Open Rifle and Open Shotgun Programs - April 11
Boy Scouts and Venturers are invited to participate in the Open Rifle and Shotgun programs on April 11. Two sessions will be offered for each program but registration is limited to 24 people per session. You can register as an individual or as a patrol, troop or crew.

Membership Grants of up to $1,000 Available to Units
Does your unit have a great idea to boost membership, but doesn't have the funds to make it happen? The Garden State Council is happy to announce the availability of 2015 Unit Membership Grants!
We are looking for the most original, out of the box ideas to get families excited about Scouting, and ultimately enroll more youth in the Scouting program. White Horse District Cub Scout Pinewood - March 8
Each Pack is invited to register up to six (6) of their unit's top Pinewood Derby winners. Cost $5 per boy.
- Derby Weigh-In: Sunday March 1, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Runnemede Scout Hall, Across the street from 506 Sheppard Ave., Runnemede
- Race Day: Sunday March 8th, 2015 Begins at 12 p.m., Voorhees Town Center

 Old Colony District Dinner - March 25
Registration is now open for the Old Colony District Recognition Dinner
Wednesday, March 25, 6 - 9 p.m., Gambi Caterers, 595 Princeton Blvd., Oak Valley, NJ. The cost is $27 per person. Please submit nominations for district awards by March 2. BaySea District Pinewood Derby Championship Race - April 18
The 2015 BaySea District Pinewood Championship Race Hosted by West Cape May Pack 73 will be held Saturday, April 18, Cape May Convention Center, 714 Beach Ave Cape May. Car registration and inspection will begin at 11:30 and run to 1:30 p.m. Each pack will send one or more Adults with ALL the Pack's cars. Also bring tools for any car that fails inspection. The Pack registration fee is $25.00.

White Horse Fishing Derby - April 18
Attention all White Horse District Scouts, Scouters & Parents! White Horse District is busy making plans for our first ever Fishing Derby. The event will be held 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., April 18 at Haddon Lake Park (known as Audubon Lake). The event is open to all Scouts and you are encouraged to bring a friend that is thinking about joining Scouting! Prizes will be awarded and lunch will be available!! Details and registration will be available soon.

 Quakesen District Dinner - May 1
The Quakesen District Committee will be hosting the Annual District Recognition Dinner on May 1, 7 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 125 Garden St., Mount Holly. Join us for a night of fun, fellowship, recognition and a great dinner catered by Christopher's. Cost: $25 per person. We will also be recognizing some of the best leaders in our district. Now is your chance to submit nominations for a variety of awards. Deadline for award submission is March 31. Beaver Days 2015
Calling all Scouts, Scouting units and volunteers: We need you to join our Beaver Day project crew this spring. Come out and help us clean-up and spruce-up our camps after a long, long winter. Groups and individuals are welcome. Scouts of all ages are encouraged to attend, projects will be age appropriate. If you are a tradesman and have a special skill please let us know. Lunch will be served. Here are the 2015 dates:
- Roosevelt Scout Reservation: March 28, 2015
- Pine Tree Education & Environmental Center: April 18, 2015
- Pine Hill Scout Reservation: May 16, 2015

Quakesen/Mahalala Klondike Derby 2015 Operation Polar Bear XV - Winners
Greetings from the Great Northland! Once again a successful Klondike Derby has come and gone a good time had by all. There were 48 sleds from 29 troops with at least 300 scouts, 117 leaders and 18 Webelos attending. Thank you to all the volunteers, leaders and Scouts that made this event such a success!
The top winners are as follows: Scout Division: 1st - Troop 13 Border Patrol, 2nd- Troop 5 White Tigers, 3rd - Troop 601 Vikings 5
Senior Division: 1st - Troop 15 Fire Hawks, 2nd - Troop 24 Coffee Pots, 3rd - Troop 70 Tread on Me
Fastest Sled - Troop 601 Vikings 5 (Scout) and Troop 24 Coffee Pots (Senior)

Aviation Day - May 2
The New Jersey Aviation Education Council invites boys and girls in grades 6-8 to attend Aviation Day, May 2, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Ocean County Airport, 101 Airport Rd., Bayville. The program includes an introductory flight (weather permitting), and youth will learn about aerodynamics, navigation, weather, aircraft controls. Cost $20 per person.  YMCA offers Youth Sports Conditioning Class
Boys and girls ages 10-14 are invited to participate in a program designed to improve overall athletic performance. Programs will be offered on Wednesday's at Mt.
