GSC Volunteer Recognition Dinner- Wednesday April 30th

Fellow Scouters, The Council Volunteer Recognition Dinner is rapidly approaching!  The dinner will be at Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, NJ, across the street from the Deptford mall in the Grand Ballroom!  The dinner is a great time to share fellowship with Scouters while recognizing the dedicated work of all Scouters.  This is also the special occasion to witness the first class of Garden State Council Silver Beaver recipients awarded their honors.  We all dedicate a lot of our lives to the cause of our youth, and deserve this relaxing night out.  The event is open to all.  Consider  becoming a Silver Beaver Booster to extend your congratulations to the Silver Beaver recipients.   Log onto the Council website, click on the calendar feature in the top tool bar, navigate to Wednesday, April 30, and click on the Council Dinner for more information and registration.  You can also opt to mail in your registration.  Visit the Council Activities Site under the Program tab and read details and download the registration form.  Looking forward to seeing you there and having a fantastic time!

Wood Badge Dining In May 8th

Greetings everyone! I am Kyle Chelius and I have the honor of being the Scoutmaster for this year's Wood Badge Dining In.  I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself.  I am an Owl and was in class N5-334-11-1.  I earned my beads in September 2012.  I'm also an Assistant Scoutmaster in Troop 26 (Mullica Hill), a committee member in Troop 44, the Old Colony District training chair, part of the Old Colony Round Table staff and I just finished became a Leave No Trace trainer this past weekend at Camp Grice.  I also help out with the kitchen at Lenape Lodge 8 OA events.

Enough of me!  The 2014 Garden State Wood Badge Dining In is quickly approaching.  It's on May 8 at Masso's Red Pine Inn, located near Glassboro, NJ.  By now, my fellow Wood Badgers (beaders and learners) should have received a registration form in the mail.  You can also click here to register online.

I look forward to seeing you on May 8th
