This is the first ever GSC swap meet. Units can sell/trade/give-away ("sell") gear they no longer need. Units or individuals in need of equipment can get some good deals, while knowing they are contributing to another unit. (Individuals cannot be sellers).

There is no fee. Units must bring their own table(s). The size of each booth will be dependent on the number of units registered. Terms of any sale are between the unit and the buyer.

 Set up starts at 7:30 and all items must be removed by Noon.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office - Megan's Law Unit provides registered unit leaders (Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, Venture Crew Advisors) with information pertaining to the proximity of sexual predators to your meeting place and will contact you with updates as needed, but you must apply.

The Megan's Law unit suggests you contact your local law enforcement agency and fill out a Megan's Law Notification Application. The best way for them to get information to the public is to have current contact information for units. Please make this information available as you change leadership in your unit as well so that the Prosecutors office has the most up to date contact information available to them.

In 1948 Jirair S. Hovnanian and his family immigrated to the United States of America in search of finding the American Dream.   Through years of hard work, dedication and adherence to a strict code of ethics and morals, Mr. Hovnanian and his family have realized that dream. As the founder of J. S. Hovnanian & Sons, one of the area's largest builders of quality new homes, Mr. Hovnanian felt a desire to give back to the community. In 1998, in celebration of his fiftieth year as an American citizen, Mr. Hovnanian created the Jirair S. Hovnanian Scholarship Fund.

The purpose of this fund is to award scholarships to youth who are registered members of the Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America, to assist young people in their pursuit of the American Dream. Interested youth are encouraged to read the attached documents to determine their eligibility and then complete the required application and submit it to the Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America.

All applications must be submitted to either Scout Service Center by May 31, 2013. All applications will be reviewed and the winners will be notified by phone. A check will be presented to the recipients at the Council Executive Board Meeting on JUNE 17, 2013.

The inaugural Nicky Green Memorial 5K Run promotes teen suicide awareness, and any proceeds benefit the Nicky Green Memorial Scholarship Fund (NG52RV)

Activities will take place along the waterfront from Riversharks Stadium to the Battleship New Jersey.

Cost:   $50.00 Is the Base Price. This includes: Camping at Rivershark Stadium for Friday and Saturday night, all meals, Local Scout Show and Skill, and Entertainment

Additional options:

$35.00 per night if you would like to sleep in the sailor's berths of the Battleship New Jersey. This price includes a Tour so there is no need to pay for the al a carte tour. (see below)

$10.00 All day Admission fee to the NJ Adventure Aquarium. Once you have the wristband you can come and go as many times as you would like.

$5.00 All day Admission fee to the Battleship (for those not sleeping aboard). Once you have the wristband you can come and go as many times as you would like.
