It is time to pack your bag and plan to travel this weekend to St. Mark's Annual Parish Retreat.  You offered such a WONDERFUL response to the invitation to come that we will be filling the Christiane Inn and three cottages!  Below are details for both getting to, and being at the beautifully located Claggett Center near Sugarloaf Mountain.  


Getting There:
FREE BUS - 8:00 AM sharp!
Departs from St. Mark's

Please arrive early (7:30-7:45am)

SATURDAY START:

Check-in: 9:00am

Find me at the Welcome Center to check-in.
10:30 am - 1st event

Lunch is 1st meal served (eat breakfast before coming!)


End of Day Saturday: Senior Warden's Reception
Please bring a snack or drink




Things to Note:

We love our furry friends, but no pets allowed.

Bed & bath linens provided.
Vegetarian entrees available for all meals.
High chairs in dining hall.
Life guard at pool (limited hours for access.)
Youth activities planned.
Weather: 80's forecast, chance of a thunderstorm.
Swim, Hike & Play: Claggett Center's 268 acre campus offers a host of  recreational activities for youth and adults.

BUS DEPARTS: 2:00pm (returns to St. Mark's at 3:00pm)

55 min (48.7 miles)   via I-270 N  -  55 min without traffic
  • Get on I-695 from 4th St SE
  • Merge onto I-695
  • Merge onto I-395 S
  • Take exit 10C for George Washington Memorial Parkway N toward Memorial Bridge
  • Merge onto George Washington Memorial Pkwy
  • Take the exit onto I-495 N toward Maryland
  • Keep left at the fork to continue on I-270 Spur N, follow signs for Interstate 270
  • Merge onto I-270 N
  • Take exit 26 for MD-80 toward Urbana/Buckeystown
  • Follow MD-80 W to MD-85 S in Buckeystown
