The Gospel According to St. Mark's
From Jeff Kempskie, Director of Music

Dear St. Mark's,

I'd like to remind you that the choir will offer a special sung mass at this Sunday's morning services in observance of "Laetare" Sunday, the mid-point in Lent.  We'll take a break from most of the Taize music and the Chancel Choir will sing the Kyrie, Credo, Sanctus-Benedictus, and Agnus Dei from Domenico Scarlatti's Missa Quatuor Vocum (Mass for Four Voices).  Special guest Anthony Harvey will accompany the choir and play some solo pieces on his theorbo (a large lute from the Baroque period).  This will be an excellent Sunday morning to invite a friend to St. Mark's!

On Sunday, March 20th (Palm Sunday) we will once again present the Passion Narrative with dance choreographed by Rosie Brooks and original music by Jeff Kempskie.  We will be joined by special guest Amy Domingues on the cello.

Peace,

JEFF
