It takes more than hardware to bring you great community radio -- it also takes the care and skills of generous volunteers. In January, KBOO produced three on-location live broadcasts around Portland.

First Congregational Church in downtown Portland, where the Illahee Lecture Series holds the second talk in its 2013 Lecture Series 'Who Owns You? and what you can do about it,' with Buck Parker, Strategic Advisor at Earthjustice. His talk will address the question of 'Who Owns Our Environment?'

You can listen to the January talk by food sovereignty activist and author Raj Patel, on the topic 'Who Owns Our Food?'

Volunteer Opportunity - Inventory Assistant 

 

KBOO's Finance Department seeks a volunteer with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel to help with an inventory project. The Assistant may also do some research to find asset replacement costs. This position also involves taking photos and inserting them in spreadsheets.  Interested?
