God's Epic Work This Summer

~God Is Love~
You don't hear the word "Epic" much these days in regard to Christian youth activities. The Christian Camp and Conference Association, a helper organization to Singing Hills and other Christian camps, is re-educating this generation about Christian camping with their campaign, "The Power of Camp."   It isn't the physical camp, but really it is the power of love from a God who brought about His Epic saving grace through Jesus. We love it that we are part of making His message of love known at our camp.  Singing Hills provides a unique experience for kids (of all ages,) to be in an environment away from the noise and frantic pace of life. The quiet enjoyment of being outdoors, playing like never before, and witnessing the love of God in dedicated leaders, inspires and allows the voice of God to be heard and asks kids to respond. That is EPIC, and it is happening now at Singing Hills! Please pray for these kids as they re-enter their home environments that they too can inspire others to know the love of God in this generation.

ACT LIKE MEN RETREAT

September 25-27, 2015

 

Now more than ever, we need men to take action as in these verses from 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, ACT LIKE MEN, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." 

 

At this event men, you will learn more about how to order your life with purpose as a godly man.  Be reminded or introduced to what it means to be a man like Jesus.  Enjoy time in the woods with other men with the same purpose and have a little fun with that through some military style games and activities.  

Our speakers for the weekend are Joel Battaglia, pastor of Lyndonville Bible Church, and Don Jordan, Executive Director of Singing Hills. They will be sharing with you how to stand firm in the faith and how to make faith a reality in your daily life.

Gazebo Time

Part of being at camp is enjoying time away from the city in the great outdoors. Our new gazebo is the perfect spot to relax on a hot summer day. These kids seem to be doing just that. 
Beautiful Feet

All the rage these days is a fairly new sport using the "Gaga Pit." The game is played much like dodge ball but is done in an octagonal pit that increases the fun. Feet get jumping trying to avoid the ball being rolled toward them. Kids are enjoying the "Gaga Pit" at Singing Hills this summer. 

We have "kicked" off our Beautiful Feet Fundraising Campaign to continue to bless all the 14,000 beautiful feet we anticipate coming each year to Singing Hills!

The Beautiful Feet Campaign needs to raise $15,000 to replace the tile and carpet in the Maple Ridge Chapel. Would you consider a gift today toward this campaign?

God Speaks Contemplative Retreat
