Taking Applications for Extension Master Gardeners 

If you have a passion for gardening and would like to share horticulture information with others AND like to have fun, consider volunteering with the Johnson County Extension Master Gardeners (EMGs). We are now taking applications for the Class of 2016.

Would you like to learn more about where your food comes from? Vendors from the Olathe Farmers market will be on hand to talk about and sell their locally grown food. The first 200 visitors get a breakfast dinner from the farm.

As mentioned in last month's KFL the JCEEF received 10 grant proposals totaling over $14,000 to further Extension programming within the community.  

 

Due to the high quality grant proposals presented the JCEEF Board increased available funding from $10,000 to $11,200.
