Greetings Everyone!
It's a great weekend to make Faith in Action a top priority. Jobs are piling up and we don't want to turn people away right before the holidays. FIA does not meet in December so this is our last chance to serve before the new year. We have many requests for help from friends and neighbors as well as long lines expected at the Car Shop. Please join us this Saturday, November 17, from 8:00am-12:00pm.
As always, it is VERY HELPFUL for volunteers to RSVP. Knowing our numbers helps us to plan projects, line up materials, and prepare lunch.

Safe Floors and Handrails
Home Repairs and more...
 Roll up your sleeves and get ready! There is lots to do this month. A few of our senior citizens need home repairs to make their homes more safe. If we get enough hands on deck, we can pressure wash for another senior. If we really rock, we can get some painting done. Come ready to serve and we will hook you up.

Car Shop
Basic Car Repairs
 The Car Shop anticipates up to ten cars from Helping Hand House this Saturday. Helping Hand House assists homeless families as they transition into stable lifestyles. These families need dependable transportation to get their lives on track. If you can help with oil changes, diagnostics, and minor repairs, email Don. No experience necessary. Our certified mechanics will teach the skills needed to get the job done.

Be an Ambassador
Make Connections with Those We Serve
 Faith in Action is a great way to minister to people and build relationships. If you would like tag along with the work crews as an ambassador, that would be GREAT!! Meet the people we serve, engage in friendly conversation, and see what happens. Jesus is already there and invites you to join Him.

Food, Fun, and Fellowship
 Putting faith into action can create an appetite! Thank goodness Lee Mincey can cook!! You haven't lived until you've had his famous Mac 'N Cheese. Join us at 12:00 noon for a hosted lunch after a job well done. Our treat.
